In the fourth quarter of 2024, the cryptocurrency app market on iOS in Australia showcased significant trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

CoinSpot - Buy & Sell Bitcoin experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads. Starting from 1.8K in early October, downloads surged to over 23K by early December. Weekly active users also grew substantially, from around 125K to a peak of 294K in the same period.

Phantom - Crypto Wallet saw a significant jump in downloads mid-quarter, reaching 18K in late November. Active users increased from 9.1K at the start of the quarter to over 33K by early December.

Crypto.com: Buy BTC, ETH & CRO showed a steady increase in both downloads and active users. Downloads climbed from 1.3K in early October to 12K by early December, while active users grew from 48K to 91K during the quarter.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto maintained a strong presence with downloads peaking at over 10K in early December. Active users rose from 99K at the beginning of the quarter to a high of 248K in December.

Coinbase: Buy BTC, ETH, SOL saw growth in downloads from 1.2K in early October to over 10K by early December. Active users increased from 22K to nearly 60K by the end of the quarter.
